Our Mission

For too long, parts of Houston have been ignored, becoming targets for illegal dumping and neglect.

Clean The Block is a grassroots movement dedicated to physical action and community revitalization.

We Don’t just clean streets; we restore dignity

We are a Houston-based community movement that uses consistent neighborhood cleanups as the starting point for restoring pride, strengthening ownership, improving public spaces, and building long-term community wealth.

We do more than remove trash. We show up repeatedly in neighborhoods affected by illegal dumping, abandoned properties, deteriorating infrastructure, and decades of disinvestment. Each cleanup is a visible promise that residents have not been forgotten - and a practical first step toward safer, healthier, more economically resilient communities.

Saturday-Sunday: 10:00–11:00 AM CST

Proceeds from shirt sales are intentionally reinvested into the people and systems behind Clean The Block, helping support the team whose day-in and day-out work keeps the mission moving.

Every shirt purchased directly fuels our efforts to clean up the streets of Houston's underserved neighborhoods, funding supplies, equipment, and fair pay for the crews who show up rain or shine to do the work that too often goes unnoticed.
